Essential Criteria
It is essential that the successful candidate meets the following requirements.
• Customer-facing experience, ideally working with groups such as developers, landowners, or similar stakeholders.
• Proven ability to handle and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Practical understanding of NIE Networks' overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Awareness of land access processes, including wayleave agreements, easements, and lease arrangements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Evidence of effective workload management, including prioritisation and organisation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Hold a full current UK driving licence or obtain one by the start date.


Desirable Criteria
Ideally you should also possess:
• Experience in planning and/or wayleaves activities.
• Proficiency in Land Registry searches
• Relevant qualifications relating to the acquisition of legal consents
• Practical knowledge of wayleave payments and land damage claims
• Understanding of the planning approval process
• Familiarity with obtaining a “necessary wayleave” from the Department of Economy (DfE)
• Working knowledge of wayleave agreements, easements and lease processes
• Awareness of land purchase processes within NIE Networks.
