Essential Criteria
It is essential that the successful candidate meets the following requirements.
• A relevant third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or Project Management.
• Demonstrable experience of working with transmission and/or distribution electricity network assets within an operational, engineering, construction, asset management or project delivery environment.
• Experience of project planning, coordination and monitoring, including the use of project management tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent planning software.
• Proven ability to successfully plan, coordinate and deliver complex programmes of work, ensuring milestones, deadlines and objectives are achieved.
• Experience of project governance, reporting and performance monitoring across multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks, constraints, delivery challenges and operational issues, and develop practical solutions and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
• An understanding of the roles, responsibilities and interfaces between Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and Transmission Operators (TOs) and an understanding of the operational, planning and regulatory considerations involved.
• Experience of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries and engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholder
