Essential Criteria
It is essential that the successful candidate meets the following requirements
• A working knowledge of total station survey techniques
• Demonstrate the ability to be able to positively influence safety behaviours
• A practical understanding of the wayleave process
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• A current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
Desirable Criteria
• A minimum of one years experience in survey of overhead power lines
• A survey related qualification/module
• GPS Survey experience
• A working understanding of PoleCAD or other CAD package
• A working understanding of Northern Ireland Planning processes
• A working knowledge of design issues associated with NIE Networks overhead and underground distribution networks
• A working knowledge of NIE Networks wayleave/lease/easement processes
