Essential Criteria
It is essential that the successful candidate meets the following requirements:
• A third level qualification in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline.
• A developed knowledge of power engineering principles.
• A track record of successful project management and delivery using a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE2 or similar.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Office suite).
• A current driving licence.

Desirable Criteria
It would be advantageous if you have any of the following:

• PRINCE2 or similar project management accreditation.
• A practical understanding of smart grid technologies and their application.
• A practical understanding of electricity market design and operation.
• Experience working on innovation projects.
• Experience of engaging with and managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Membership of a relevant professional body.
