Candidate criteria

Shortlisting Criteria

Essential
-A third level qualification in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline (minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent).
-A minimum of 2 years' experience of engaging with and managing internal and external stakeholders.
-Ability to produce high-quality written reports, briefing papers and presentations for a range of technical and non-technical audiences
-A practical understanding of power engineering principles.
-The ability to maintain and further develop effective working relationships and partnerships.
-Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Office suite).
-Hold a current full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to meet the travel requirements of the role.

Desirable
-A practical understanding of energy system forecasting.
-Experience working on innovative projects.
-A track record of successful project management and delivery.
-Membership of a relevant professional body.
