Shortlisting Criteria
Essential Criteria
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a procurement related environment awarding a portfolio of contracts ideally Works Construction, providing for Turnkey, EPC, D&B requirements, compliant with the Utility / Public Contracts Regulations
• A working knowledge of full procurement process including, developing strategy, engaging stakeholders, preparation of tender enquiry documents, tender analysis and tender negotiations, compliant with the Utility / Public Contracts Regulations
• A working knowledge of industry standard Works Construction / Services conditions of contract
• A working knowledge of drafting non-standard conditions of contract
• A working knowledge of negotiating contract terms and conditions
• Proven experience of managing disputes and supplier performance issues in relation to contract management
• Strong IT skills with a developed knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite & experience of bespoke procurement systems
• Highly developed communication skills with an ability to write clear and precise reports which relay complex information simply to a diverse range of people
• A current UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
