Essential Criteria
It is essential that the successful candidate meets the following requirements.
• Working knowledge of overhead line construction methods and relevant associated work methods
• Demonstrate the ability to manage work delivery and/or management of teams to ensure the effective delivery of relevant projects/programmes of work
• Previous experience in promoting and delivering against safety targets and being a role model in relation to safe onsite working practices
• Previous experience of the NIE Networks (or similar) electricity system at distribution or transmission voltage levels
• Proven track record of dealing with Customers and Contracting Partners and managing their expectations
• Working knowledge of IT/Microsoft Office to include enhanced reporting and analysis of information
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders
• Current Driving Licence and access to a vehicle on a daily basis
Desirable Criteria
Ideally, you should also possess:
• Experience in resource management, including planning and scheduling of work, to deliver work programmes within a similar environment
• Practical understanding of Maximo Lines
• A relevant management qualification.
