Shortlisting Criteria
Essential Criteria
.A minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement or contract management related environment, managing a portfolio of contracts including supply chain engagement.
.A working knowledge of identifying and managing supplier risk and opportunities.
•A working knowledge of standard construction / engineering conditions of contract
•Proven ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions
•Proven experience of managing disputes and supplier performance issues related to contract management
•Strong IT skills with an advanced proficiency of the Microsoft Office & experience of bespoke procurement systems
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports for diverse audiences
•An extremely high level of self-motivation with sound problem solving capabilities and the ability to deliver work to tight deadlines.
•A current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable Criteria
•Ideally you should also possess:
•Degree or equivalent in Business / Contract Management or Quantity Surveying or Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
•Minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction or engineering related environment
•Membership of a relevant Professional Body (for example, CIPS, IET, RICS) or working towards it
•Strong business management skills.
•Sound understanding of legal documentation, and associated terms and conditions.
