Shortlisting Criteria

Essential:
•A third level qualification in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline (minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent).
•A minimum of three years post graduate experience working in a technical role.
•A practical understanding of power engineering principles.
•A working knowledge of data science tools and techniques.
•A working knowledge of programming languages, such as Python etc.
•A track record of successful project management and delivery.
•Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Office suite).
•A current driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable:
•A post graduate qualification (MSc/PHD) in energy, power systems or related engineering discipline.
•A practical understanding of energy system forecasting .
•Experience working on innovative projects.
•Experience of engaging with and managing internal and external stakeholders.
•Membership of a relevant professional body.
