Candidate criteria

Minimum Level of Education Required

GCSE (or equivalent)

Shortlisting Criteria

Essential Criteria:
• Be at least 18 years old by the start date (September 2026).
• GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above.

AND one of the following:
•Have 3 A-Levels at grades A*- C including Mathematics or Physics OR
•BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering (MMP*) OR
• BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (MM*)
*M – Merit; P – Pass
• Either a new employee to NIE Networks or be able to demonstrate a significant change of role within the company.
•Hold a full current UK driving licence or obtain one by the start date (September 2026).
