It is essential that the successful candidate meets the following requirements:
• Proven ability to promote and influence positive safety behaviours and foster a strong safety culture.
• Working knowledge of Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual, with the ability to apply its principles effectively on site.
• A practical understanding of excavation, reinstatement, and utility apparatus installation techniques, with a focus on safety and quality standards.
• A practical understanding of Microsoft Office applications to support reporting, analysis, and communication.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations constructively and professionally.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with contracting partners, colleagues, and customers.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness, including the ability to challenge appropriately to ensure value for money.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• A high level of customer focus, with experience managing customer interactions and resolving issues sensitively and efficiently.
• Practical understanding of relevant legislation, including safety regulations, street works requirements, waste management protocols, and environmental standards.
• A full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel across operational sites as
